The holiday season is a wonderful time to connect with family and friends. However, between Thanksgiving, office parties, and the holidays themselves, many people find themselves spending a lot of time in the kitchen! If you’re in need of a break, here are three Long Island restaurants that will be open on Christmas Eve.

Interestingly enough, Chinese food on Christmas is a tradition in many families. If that’s the case, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that Beijing House in Syosset will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The restaurant was selected this year by Newsday as one of the top 100 restaurants on Long Island and the menu offers Chinese American classics along with Northern Chinese dishes. Standout dishes include the cucumber and jellyfish salad, cumin lamb, kung pao chicken and braised beef noodle soup.
