Winter Long Island Restaurant Week is just around the bend, and great deals at restaurant are snowing down! The promotion, which is dedicated to helping local restaurants during a slower time of the year in the mid-winter, will be taking place January 29th to February 5th. Participating restaurants are offering a two-course lunch prix fixe menu for $22 and three-course dinner prix fixe for $27/$37/$44. Here are six noteworthy participants that we highly recommend trying during restaurant week!

Nomiya

Nomiya, which translates to “saloon,” is the first izakaya restaurant in the Garden City area. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and a windowed dining room framed by black granite walls.
