4 Restaurants on Long Island Offering St Patrick’s Day Specials

Get ready to add some Irish flair to your dining plans! St. Patrick's Day is around the corner, and we've scoped out four delicious restaurants offering specials and other events for the occasion. Whether you're into classic Irish eats or want to try something new, these spots have you covered. So, put on your greenest gear and let's dive into the tasty side of St. Paddy's Day! 🍀🌈

Rowdy Hall, an American pub in Amagansett, is offering Irish specials in light of St. Patrick’s Day. These will be available on Sunday, March 17, Saturday, March 23, and again on Sunday, March 24. On St. Patrick’s Day a special Irish prix-fixe will be available for lunch and dinner with the choice of either an appetizer and entrée or an entrée or dessert for $35. Irish specials include Irish Colcannon soup, corned beef & cabbage, bangers and mash, and a chocolate Guinness layer cake served with Irish whiskey and crushed pretzel. The same specials will be available for to-go at a la carte pricing. On the 23rd and 24th, specials will include the Irish Colcannon soup and corned beef and cabbage. Beverage specials for all three days include the Stout & Shot, a 19 ounce imperial pint of Guinness Irish Stout with a shot of West Cork IPA Cask-Matured Irish Whiskey, as well as their Rowdy Irish Coffee, made of Bonfire Coffeehouse’s organic sunrise blend, West Cork Bourbon Cask Irish Whiskey and fresh whipped cream. Yum!

Finn MacCool’s Restaurant and Bar is a longtime popular favorite located in Port Washington. Named after a giant, semi mythical character from ancient Gaelic Legends, the elegant restaurant is known for its Irish and American fare. In the week leading up to St. Patrick's Day, they are having Irish dancing from the Doherty Petri School every day starting at 5 pm. On the day of the holiday, they will have live Irish music starting at 2 pm and also on March 15th and the 16th starting in the evening. On top of that, with comfort food like Irish-style chicken curry, shepherd’s pie, beer battered cod and chips, and a slow cooked pot roast, you can’t go wrong.

Mirabelle Restaurant and Tavern, located at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, is known for serving American comfort food and French bistro classics in an elegant atmosphere. Starting on Wednesday, March 14, through Sunday, March 17, the restaurant is offering a special St. Patrick’s Day themed prix-fixe menu. Consisting of three courses and costing $55 per person, the courses will be as follows: For the first course, choose between a warm goat cheese salad, smoked trout, potato cheddar cheese and Guinness soup, a baked king pretzel, or stuffed potato skins. For the second course, enjoy beer battered cod and chips, Irish roasted marinated salmon, boiled cured pork chop, beef and Guinness stew, or traditional corned beef and cabbage. Finally, for dessert, select between sticky toffee pudding, a mint chip-which, a ginger almond tart, or pistachio gelato. Might as well order them all.

The Milleridge Inn

The Milleridge Inn is a historic restaurant that has been serving classic American cuisine along with special seasonal offerings for over 80 years. Nestled in the heart of Jericho right in the Milleridge Village, the restaurant is renowned for its old-world charm as well as brunches. For St. Patrick’s Day, Milleridge Inn is serving a pre-game brunch with an Irish twist from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. The brunch costs $69.95 for adults and $39.95 for children. That’s not all - the restaurant will have Irish step dancers the weekend of March 17. On March 15 and 16th, the step dancers will be performing from 4 pm to 8 pm, and then on March 17, the performance will be from 1 to 8 pm. On top of that, there will be bagpipers, too! Lastly, Milleridge Inn will be providing drink specials, with $10 beers of Guinness, Harp, Black and Tan, Angry Orchard, and $7 shots of baby Guinness, Jameson, and green tea.
