Beer lovers, it’s your time to shine, Oktoberfest is in full swing so grab your lederhosen or dirndl and text your friends cause it’s time to eat würstl, cheers!

Dive into Oktoberfest at Plattdeutsche Park, Long Island’s home for German culture, cuisine and events since 1901. The tasty restaurant is set on eight acres of land giving them ample room for a beer hall, Biergarten and Brauhaus. From October 1-15 Plattdeutsche Park will host their annual Oktoberfest celebration. Guests can look forward to German food, Oktoberfest beers, music bands, dancing and demonstrations!

Blue Point Brewpub in Patchogue is celebrating Oktoberfest from now until October 3. The brewery will offer German food specials, live music including a polka band, stein holding competitions and German-style beers on tap!

Who’s feeling competitive this holiday? From noon- 9 p.m. Long Ireland will be holding its annual stein holding, keg tossing and sausage eating contest. Food trucks will be on sight serving traditional German food that will pair perfectly with the brewery’s festive beers. End the night by relaxing, grabbing a seat and a good brew and enjoy a screening of the movie BeerFest.

The pub restaurant Rowdy Hall will be offering delicious bites at the bar from now until October 3. Diners can look forward to Obatzda, Giant Bavarian Pretzel with house-made beer mustard, Bavarian sausage salad, Wienerschnitzel, vinegar & salt shoestring fries and German butter pound cake. From September 25 – October 3 potato leek soup with pretzel croutons, knockwurst, bratwurst, and bockwurst German potato salad and black forest torte will also be available to help you celebrate Oktoberfest the right way!
