Where To Celebrate National Rose Day on LI

We know the motto is rosé all day, but National Rosé Day is officially celebrated on June 10th. The pink wine is the perfect summer sip, and wineries, tasting rooms and restaurants throughout Long Island are marking the occasion in a variety of ways. Here are four spots we think you should check out this Saturday.

At Corey Creek Tap Room, small batch wines are crafted with great care. This year Corey Creek in Southold is offering its largest lineup of unique rosés yet, including syrah rosé and old vine rosé made from aromatic barrel-aged Gewurztraminer. They will celebrate National Rosé day on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 4 p.m. Guests will enjoy live music by Chole Halpin complete with local oysters from Harvest Moon Shellfish and a special rosé/frosé flight will be available for $25.

Sparkling Pointe Vineyards

Nestled in the breezy and beautiful North Fork of Long Island, Cynthia and Tom Rosicki have dedicated Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery to estate grown sparkling wines produced exclusively in the traditional Méthode Champenoise. Sustainably farming 40 acres of vineyard, their Topaz Imperial Rosé was recently selected by one of the one hundred best bubblies from around the world by Wine Spectator.

Hunter The Restaurant

The restaurant will celebrate National Rosé Day on Saturday, June 10 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Diners may enjoy 25% off bottles of Whispering Angel Rosé and Minuty Rosé, as well as 25% off glasses of rosé and a special rosé sangria. Hunter The Restaurant is open Tuesday – Sunday beginning at noon. Reservations are recommended and can be made online or by calling the restaurant directly at 516-624-8330.

Croteaux Vineyards

Croteaux Vineyards makes rosé and only rosé. In fact, they are the only vineyard in the entire country to do so. They describe their wines as combining “the traditional tastes of southern France with the distinct seaside style and agrarian history of the North Fork.” The tasting garden is open for the season and is open every day for you to enjoy sparkling rosé flights, glasses & bottles plus delicious light bites. We especially love the Merlot 181 Rosé
