Restaurants on Long Island Offering Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas Eve calls for an extravagant holiday dinner! If you’re looking for restaurants to dine out at this holiday, here are four spots on Long Island that should be on your radar.

Nick and Toni’s is considered one of the most iconic restaurants in the Hamptons. Opened in 1988, the restaurant is rooted in farm to table Mediterranean cuisine and aims to source its ingredients locally. On Christmas Eve, Nick and Toni’s will be offering a special three-course holiday prix fixe menu for $125 per person. Appetizers include calamari, buffalo mozzarella arancini, spinach and ricotta tortellini and more. For entrees, some dishes include wood roasted Montauk cod, prime NY strip steak, mushroom lasagna, roasted chicken, etc. For dessert, guests can choose from dishes such as dark chocolate cake, eggnog pudding, apple crostata and tartufo. On top of that, guests will receive a complimentary Chef’s offering of house-cured salmon with crème fraiche and American caviar. As for kids, there will be a special “Bambini Menu” available! Mirabelle Restaurant at Three Village Inn is a popular dining staple in Stony Brook. The restaurant serves farm-to-table French inspired cuisine with an American twist alongside a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. Housed in a historic building, Mirabelle Restaurant has been recognized with several prestigious awards including being named among Newsday’s Top 100 Restaurants on Long Island for over a decade. In celebration of Christmas Eve, Mirabelle is offering a special three-course prix fixe menu with the dinner costing $75 for adults and half-price for children ages 10 and under. For the first course, a selection of dishes include crab cake, warm goat cheese salad, duck taco, and cream of mushroom and chestnuts soup. For a main course, guests may enjoy pan roasted chicken breast, duck, pan seared red snapper, a 12 ounce filet mignon and more. Milleridge Inn in Jericho is considered to be one of Long Island’s hidden treasures. Open for over 80 years, the historic restaurant serves classic American cuisine along with seasonal offerings. On Christmas Eve between 1 to 5 p.m., Milleridge Inn will be offering a lavish three-course prix fixe dinner as well as an extravagant buffet dinner. The buffet, costing $80 for adults and $40 for children ages 2 through 12, will feature a seafood bar, a cold food display, salads, a carving station, house specialties, a wide array of sides, a kid’s corner and a dessert section. For the 3-course prix fixe, adults cost $76 and children are $33 for ages 2 through 12. For starters, there will be soups and salads available. For entrées, there will be items such as prime rib, roast beef, lamb shank, salmon, etc. For dessert, there will be an assortment of holiday pies and ice cream. Children under two are free. Crabtree is a casual but upscale Mediterranean-Continental restaurant that serves seafood, brunch, lunch and dinner. Located in Floral Park, the restaurant is well-recognized for its high-quality food as Trip Advisor has continuously Ranked Crabtree Restaurant as one of the “Top 5 Rated Restaurants on Long Island” from 2018 to 2023. For Christmas Eve, Crabtree is offering a special holiday a la carte menu. Appetizers include salads, cream of broccoli, crispy calamari, grilled octopus, blue point oysters, grilled octopus, sweet potato gnocchi and mozzarella Napoleon.
