Playa Bowls is Open in Oceanside!

Oceanside is about to get a little more colorful and a lot more delicious. Joe and Tess De Pierro, a husband-and-wife team from Long Island, opened the doors to their brand new Playa Bowls shop at 3549 Long Beach Road in the Sands Shopping Center. What makes this spot extra special? It’s fully kosher-certified, family-run and packed with the kind of laid-back, beachy energy that just feels right at home on Long Island.

The De Pierros, who are first-time business owners and longtime fans of Playa Bowls, are excited to offer the community a fresh and healthy option. Their menu features vibrant açaí bowls, smoothies, cold brews and more. Even better, it’s truly a family affair: their sons and goddaughter are helping out with daily operations, making this a real community spot.

The De Pierros say they want Playa Bowls Oceanside to be a welcoming hangout for everyone, from teens looking for a fun place to meet up, to families and health-conscious locals searching for something tasty and nutritious.

Playa Bowls Oceanside is open seven days a week (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays). With plans to open more locations across Long Island and Queens, the De Pierro family hopes to bring their passion for healthy living and community spirit to even more neighborhoods.
