Black Friday is a day filled with deals and discounts marking the start of the holiday shopping season. Some people go at midnight, while others go during the day to take advantage of the promotions. Regardless of what time you’re planning on shopping, you will need a pick me up after doing all of that running around. So, here are some delicious bites in Long Island malls to check out during your shopping trip.

Starting off at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, Mito is an Asian Fusion Sushi Lounge, that serves quality Japanese cuisine. Mito is authentic but not traditional, showcasing a variety of dishes from three kitchens, the main kitchen, the sushi bar and the hibachi grill. On Fridays the restaurant’s hours are 11:30am-11pm, so no matter what time you decide to take on the crowds, you’ll be able to get a bite to eat. According to Mito, modern Japanese cuisine is about innovation, referring to a new and imaginative approach to cooking and presentation of food. The next dining option located in Smith Haven Mall is Texas de Brazil. This restaurant is an authentic Brazilian-American Churrascaria Steakhouse that combines the cuisine of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas. In southern Brazil, local cowboys are called gauchos, and they prepare legendary feasts in a tradition known as Churrasco, slow-roasting meats over open flames of natural wood charcoal and presenting them with an impressive display of seasonal greens, vegetable dishes and regional delicacies.
