A Moveable Feast Heating Up the East End
March 21, 2018 | What To Do
Attention all foodies: this is one party you won’t want to miss.
From 4 to 7pm on Sunday, March 25, the Joshua Levine Memorial Foundation and Slow Food East End will be hosting their eighth annual “A Moveable Feast”. The evening not only celebrates the coming spring, but also Edible School Gardens and the legacy of Joshua Levine.
In addition to delicious food from dozens of vendors, unbeatable drinks, and live music you can get up and dance to, the evening also features an exciting celebrity cameo from the one and only Sam Kass. The prolific former White House kitchen chef and food entrepreneur will be leading a keynote discussion along with Richard McCarthy, head of Slow Food USA. Don’t forget the silent auction at the end of the night! It might just be your chance to win big on items donated from local farms, fishermen, restaurants, vineyards and merchants from across Long Island.
To top it all off, you can rest assured knowing that you’re partying for a cause. Funds raised from A Moveable Feast will go towards the Edible School Gardens Program to promote good farming practices, education, environmental awareness and healthy eating for children and their families.
Tickets are running out, so act fast! Click here to snag your seat for the foodie event of the year or donate to support an awesome cause.
